The fourth graders rounded out the year with an Ancient Greece celebration. There were skits and olympic games and there was a display of artwork from Ancient Greece, mostly amphoras that the students made. Oh, and of course there was plenty of food!
ASSEMBLIES
What is a Marionette? A Marionette is a fancy word for puppet on strings. That was what the most recent assembly was about. It was really cool. There were puppets like an old, homeless man, a violinist and a mother . The mother rocked her baby. There was even a trapezee artist. Many kids had various questions like what was Joseph Cashore?s inspiration. The puppets looked so realistic.

FIELD TRIP!!
The Liberty Science Center The Liberty Science Center was a very educational place. While being educational, it was really fun. When you first come in you see a giant ball getting bigger and then smaller. It's so cool. Then on the left there is a big building that says, "Skyscraper." It takes up half the first floor. When you go in there are a bunch of mini games. Then you go up the stairs to a beam of an unfinished skyscraper. You would get geared up and get on one of the beams. You walk around there for sometime and you are 20 feet in the air.If you were there you would have loved it. Then if you go upstairs you can see an I-max movie. It's like 3-d without the glasses. You will get totally excited. There is also a mini zoo where you can see predators catch their prey. Then there is this really fun ride where you hold onto a rail and there is a short movie about 3 minutes long. It feels like you're on a roller coaster. All around it's a fun time and really educational.
